Hakuna Vota Yosemite. The most titled Siberian husky bitch in Ukraine

Vice World Winner 2024 · Vice European Winner 2025 · Supreme BISS · Judged by the breed's most respected names

Hakuna Vota Yosemite, call name Mitya, is a Siberian Husky bitch bred and owned by Tetiana Karpenko at Hakuna Vota FCI kennel in Ukraine. She is, to our knowledge, the most titled Siberian Husky bitch of Ukrainian breeding.

What makes her record remarkable is not just the titles but it's who awarded them.

The Judges Who Evaluated Mitya

Mitya has been shown under some of the most influential breed specialists in the Siberian Husky world. These people who are directly shaping the breed's present and future:

AKC Judges & Breed Specialists:

  • Donna Beckman — Goldbear Siberians
  • Bruce Barnes — Zvezda Siberians
  • Cindy Stansell
  • Shilon Bedford — Malamute breed specialist
  • Sheryl Patterson — CKC judge, Malamute breed specialist

FCI Judges & Breed Specialists:

  • Guido Schafer — Hightower's Siberians
  • Augustin Ionescu — Wolf Point Siberians
  • And many more FCI respectable judges from Europe, Asia, Scandinavia, Latin America

Under every one of these judges, Mitya received an "Excellent" rating, and got high evaluations and nice judge reports.

This is something worth being proud of. Every breeder dreams of showing a dog of their own breeding under a true breed specialist, and walking out with nothing less than 'Excellent.' But when that 'Excellent' comes with a Class Winner, or Winners Bitch, or Winners Dog: that's a milestone. And when it's the highest award of all a Best of Breed - that's the moment every breeder works toward for years. With our tandem of Mitya and me, it happened under those judges  and many more listed above.

What It Takes

Someone might say that titles aren't everything. And they're right cause titles alone mean nothing.

But to walk into a ring with a big entries and walk out with Best of Breed, you need two things working in perfect harmony: the high quality of the dog itself in terms of anatomy, movements, temperament, brains, and also high-quality training.

A successful show dog is an athlete. Behind every win are months of conditioning, handling practice, travel across countries, managing stress, and learning to perform under heavy stress circumstances - which is what a dog show actually is. It's breeding work and daily work combined.

Mitya is the result of both. She was born in our home, raised in our family, and shown by me, her breeder, across Europe. Every title she carries is a reflection of what we believe in at Hakuna Vota: that a truly great Siberian Husky is not just beautiful. She's built right, moves right, thinks right, and lives right.

How we raise our puppies. The same way we raised Mitya

What Mitya Means for Hakuna Vota

Mitya's results confirm that a small family kennel from Ukraine can produce dogs that compete and win at the highest level in the world against the best one? being shown under the most respected judges.

This inspires us to keep going. To keep learning. To honor the knowledge we've gained from every show, every trip, every conversation with the breed's old-timers. And to pour everything we know into the next generation of Hakuna Vota Siberians.

Someone will say that sockets and titles are not the main thing. But I will say that in order for a coded entry into the ring to end in victory and Best Of Breed, you need to have two components in good shape - the high quality of the dog itself in terms of anatomy, movements, temperament, brains, and also high-quality training. Because any successful show dog is an athlete, believe me. This is a lot of work in different directions, starting with breeding work and ending with mastering unnecessary emotions in moments of heavy stress, which is what a dog show actually is.
