It’s when you can laze around on the couch, and then suddenly go on a hike or hop in the car and go on a road trip. We’re up for any adventure, except fasting. Life in the big city, siberian husky in appartment and harnesses, bicycles, hiking, snowshoes, sleds, snow, snowboarding or skiing, long road trips and off-roading to beautiful and unexplored places that’s what we feel about us.

They are northern sled dogs. They run there, not knowing where or why. They run because they have to in teams over long distances, pulling sleds with light loads. And they have to run in blizzards, freezing cold, and poor visibility, when any normal creature would simply stay home for self-preservation. But not these ones… they have to be this way, because Siberian huskies were part of the Chukchi way of life, and that is the whole point. That is why certain independence holds a special place among the traits of siberians. After all, they are working sled dogs, and they are expected to make decisions on their own. The are intelligent and smart dogs. And at the same time they are family dogs but not much human oriented.
Husky is about strength of character; it’s not about “comfort and ease,” but about physical strength and endurance. To persevere where others give up. A siberian husky is about “finding your own path,” about the dignity of being yourself and seeing a job through to the end. A siberian husky is about inner strength; it’s about partnership, not learned helplessness.
Dignity, resilience, and endurance – these are the hallmarks of the siberian husky.
Everything we do at Hakuna Vota is guided by a single goal: to preserve this essence and adapt it to the modern challenges facing society
At HAKUNA VOTA, we adhere to the following principle: purebred siberian husky that meet FCI and AKC breed standards, are in good health, have a well-balanced temperament, and are well-socialized. They are dogs that we would be completely happy to live with
Before breeding future puppies, we ensure the health of their parents and maintain proper hygiene standards at the kennel. All our dogs undergo eye and joint examinations, genetic testing, deworming, vaccination, and treatment against various parasites in accordance with modern veterinary protocols. To raise a good purebred Husky, they have to first and foremost be in good health and have a supportive environment
In our breeding program, we aim to produce american-type siberian husky from show lines, guided by FCI and AKC standards. At the same time, we want to preserve the breed’s historical purpose: high productivity in a sled team. To achieve this, we focus on height and body structure, body proportions, biomechanics of locomotion, ancestral genetics, and temperament potential. Our main rule: form follows function
You’ll see your husky's temperament (or let's say psyche) every day. It’s something you’ll live with. That’s why it’s important to us to produce and select those husky specimen who have a balanced and resilient temperament. This will allow us to lay a solid foundation for their socialization, and make it easy for you to raise them and live with them
A litter every two years that’s our actual schedule. Not because we can’t do it more often, but because each litter requires our full commitment: 6 months of preparation, raising, and socializing each puppy. It’s can't be mass-produced. That’s why we have a waiting list
“Our goal is to shape puppy’s worldview from the very beginning, not, not teach commands.
We lay a quality foundation that allows the future owner to build a beautiful life with their siberian husky bred by us”
It all starts with the mother of the future puppies. We take care of her emotional and physical well-being, because a calm mother produces calm and confident puppies.
We start working with puppies as early as their third day of life. First, we conduct early neurological stimulation, followed by an early socialization program that lasts until they are 2.5 months old.
At this time our puppies undergo vestibular system training, auditory and visual training, and tactile exercises. We introduce short grooming sessions, various types of food, car rides, and crate training. Alone-time sessions. Leash, harness, recall trainings. Good manners from the very first weeks.
Our adult dogs help us; they teach the puppies certain things. For example, how to behave politely at home and respect personal boundaries. There are rules in our family, and everyone follows them.
We work with each puppy’s temperament potential. At key developmental stages, we conduct interim assessments to better understand which owner and which type of family each individual puppy is best suited for.
At 2.5 months, a new phase begins in their lives, during which we actively introduce the puppy to human society in its entirety.
Our puppies grow up among people and are raised for life in human society. Not wild creatures. Many of them will travel a long way to their new family on the other part of the world and their mindset needs to be ready for that.
One important thing: we don’t teach puppies commands. We shape their worldview. Commands, further development, and everything else that’s the future owner’s territory. We build the foundation they can build upon
We place our puppies with responsible and suitable families, not just to make a quick sale to the first person willing to pay. We meet with every potential owner in person or via video call. It’s usually just a casual conversation, it’s not an exam. It’s important for us to understand who we’re dealing with and whether our views align on the essentials: that you’re consciously taking this step, that you understand you’re getting a Husky. After all, this is a serious, intelligent breed, very strong independent character, and it’s not for everyone. This is a partner for 12–15 years.
Our puppies are meant for people who see a siberian husky as a full-fledged member of the family. We’re happy to welcome families, singles, couples, active individuals, and ambitious show handlers among our clients. Your status doesn’t matter to us; what matters is that you’re ready to welcome a siberian husky into your life just as she is.
Who we do not sell puppies to:
– to be kept on a chain or in a kennel on a permanent basis
– to a fenced-in yard where the dog is left to fend for itself
– as a surprise gift
– as a gift for a child
– to resellers
We stay connected with every family and provide support at every stage, because our moral responsibility doesn’t end the moment we hand over the puppy
