Phoebe at International Dogshow in Poland

Rzeszow. Double FCI-CACIB on May 25-26, 2024.

We have a surprise dog in our kennel. I’m talking about Phoebe, our the sweetest, the naughtiest, and the most adorable siberian, also known as Tsybulia(like Onion), and less commonly known as HAKUNA VOTA STARLIGHT PRINCESS.
There was an international dog show in Rzeszów, Poland 🇵🇱, on May 25-26 2024, a double CACIB event.
At the last minute, I decided to enter Phoebe because she needed two more CACs to complete her Polish championship. So, I thought, let’s give it a shot. Let’s see what happens, as there were 17 dogs in the breed, and 3 in our class. We were ready for competition. Phoebe was in excellent condition. A judge panel also was excellent.
I generally like this show, having attended it last year with Mitya, and we much enjoyed it.

On the first day, the breed was judged by Gerard Jipping (from the Netherlands). Our Phoebe not only won her class and received CAC, but she also became the Best of Breed (BOB), meaning she got CACIB and Best Of Breed!
Then came the final competitions. I didn’t want to stay on Bests, I wanted to go home because of the unbearable heat. However, my husband and friend convinced me to stay, saying we should “stand for 3 minutes and then leave.”

Well, those “3 minutes” turned into Phoebe winning Group 5 - Best in Group 1st place under judge Izabella Krasowska-Salamon (Poland). The 3rd place in Best in Show under judge Gerard Jipping from the Netherlands.
To say I was shocked is an understatement. I was stunned! I didn’t expect such a turn of events, as our goal was simply to get the two CACs, complete her Polish championship, and go shopping 🌝

And then BIS-3! I was immensely grateful for such wonderful events. Thanks to the organizers for the magnificent gifts and the huge rosette. Just how I like it. And I was very grateful to my dog for her work, charm, and the emotions she gave me.
The second day was another show. The Siberian husky was judged by Ryszard Wacławik (Poland). There were 16 dogs in the breed, 3 in our class, but the composition of the ring was 30% different from the first day. Phoebe did it again! CAC, CACIB, BOB! And in the Bests - Best in Group 3rd place!
So, we had an astonishing trip aiming just for two CACs, ended up completing Phoebe’s Polish Championship, and shining in the Bests! We received a lot of useful gifts, a big rosette, trophies, treats, and various supplements from Pokusa, Delikan, Petmex.

I am proud of Phoebe. Bred, own and handle&groom by me (Tetiana Karpenko).
